1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of baguachart.com (the "Site") and any free or paid digital content, tools, or reports offered through it (the "Service"). By using the Site or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What BaguaChart Is — and Is Not
BaguaChart provides cultural, educational, and entertainment content based on traditional Chinese metaphysics, including Bazi (Four Pillars of Energy), the Five Elements, the Bagua trigrams, and the I Ching (Yijing) hexagrams.
The Service is for entertainment and self-reflection only. It does not constitute — and must not be relied upon as — medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, career, or any other professional advice. Our reports describe traditional symbolic interpretations; they do not predict the future, and they are not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.
3. Free Tools
The Bagua birth chart calculator on the Site is free to use and does not require an account, registration, or payment. Free calculations run entirely in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may modify, limit, or discontinue free features at any time.
4. The Paid Baguachart Reading Report
We offer an optional paid digital product, the Baguachart Reading Report. Its key commercial terms are:

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase. By paying, you confirm that the birth details you submit are your own or that you have permission to use them.
5. Refund Policy
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your Baguachart Reading Report for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full US$9.99 to your original payment method.
You do not need to justify your request. We may ask for the email address or transaction reference used at checkout so we can locate the payment.
Refunds are normally processed within 5–10 business days. The time for the money to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider.
Your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal. Where such law grants you a longer period than 14 days, that longer period applies.
When we may decline a refund. We may refuse a refund where we have clear evidence of fraud or abuse — for example, repeated purchase-and-refund of the same product, a chargeback filed without first contacting us, or use of a stolen payment instrument. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of access.

6. Payments and Processing
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials — those are entered on the payment provider's own secure checkout and are governed by their terms and privacy policy.
Depending on the provider, the sale may be processed by a reseller or merchant of record who acts as the seller of record for the transaction, in which case your card statement may show that provider's name rather than "BaguaChart".
We reserve the right to change prices and to offer promotions or discounts at any time. Changing the price does not affect purchases already completed.
7. Your Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do and do not collect, and how the Site uses cookies and analytics. It forms part of these Terms. In summary: charts are calculated locally in your browser; the birth details you enter, for a free chart or a paid report, are never sent to us; and a paid report is unlocked by sending a derived summary of your chart plus your order reference, as described in section 2 of that policy.
8. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Disclosure
The Site contains links to websites we neither own nor control — retailers, marketplaces, bookshops, reference sources, and other publishers. They are provided for convenience and further reading. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, products, availability, pricing, or privacy practices of any third-party site, and following such a link takes you outside these Terms and outside our Privacy Policy.
Some of those links are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a small referral commission. That commission comes out of the retailer's margin: the price you pay is never increased because of us, and you are buying from that retailer under their terms, not from us. We do not sell physical goods, we do not process your order, and we never receive your payment details.
Commission does not influence our editorial content. We do not accept payment for a positive review, and a commission rate never determines whether a product is mentioned or how it is described. Any sponsored or paid placement is labelled as such.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, report templates, design, graphics, code, and the compiled interpretive content — is owned by BaguaChart or its licensors and is protected by copyright and related laws.
Your purchased report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may read it, save it, print it, and share it privately. You may not resell it, publish it commercially, systematically extract its content, or use it to train machine-learning models without our written permission.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems, or other users' data;
- Copy, scrape, or bulk-download the Site's content by automated means;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, or circumvent any technical or payment protection;
- Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service or our reports as your own.
11. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features — including free and paid content — at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature that you have already purchased, your refund rights under section 5 continue to apply.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of interpretive content.
Traditional metaphysics is interpretive, not predictive. You acknowledge that you are purchasing a cultural and entertainment product, and that you do not rely on it as professional advice of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BaguaChart and the people who operate it from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of the rights of a third party — for example, submitting birth details that are not yours or that you do not have permission to use.
This obligation does not apply to the extent that a claim results from our own breach of these Terms or our own negligence.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BaguaChart is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence; nothing in these Terms removes that protection.
Where a purchase is completed through a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, that transaction is additionally subject to the provider's own terms, including their payment, dispute, and refund procedures, and that provider is the seller of record for the sale.
Please contact us before escalating anything. If you have a problem with the Service or a purchase, write to us first at homeshoptimeus@gmail.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We would far rather fix an issue than argue about it. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim before a competent court or consumer authority where you are legally entitled to do so.
